About DigiHoof

Veterinarian-led hoof radiograph measurement and reporting software.

DigiHoof was developed to make calibrated hoof measurements easier to review, report, retrieve, and compare across equine cases.

The clinical problem

Serial studies are difficult to compare when the method changes.

Hoof radiographs may be acquired at different times, by different personnel, and for different clinical questions. Study identification, calibration, projection, landmark definition, and reporting format all affect whether a measurement can be compared.

The software

DigiHoof records the method with the result.

The platform organizes studies by horse, limb, projection, and examination date; proposes editable landmarks; calculates measurements from the approved geometry; and generates reports with structured outputs.

Veterinarian-led

Developed from equine clinical workflow.

DigiHoof was built by an equine veterinarian who works with farriers and uses foot radiographs in practice. Product decisions are based on the requirements of field imaging, landmark review, report generation, and follow-up case management.

Clinical responsibility

The veterinarian approves and interprets the result.

DigiHoof provides measurement and reporting assistance. It does not determine whether an image is diagnostic, diagnose disease, prescribe treatment, or replace professional judgment.

Reporting

Reviewed outputs for the record and farrier.

Reports can include selected radiographs, annotations, measurements, clinical photographs, and serial comparison summaries. Controlled links support authorized recipients who do not have a clinic login.

Data scope

Measurement history, not permanent DICOM storage.

Source files and image-bearing reports follow defined retention schedules. Clinics remain responsible for exporting every item required for the permanent veterinary medical record.
