Clinic workspaces require authenticated user accounts. User roles determine access to clinic and administrative functions.
Security
Controls for clinic access, study data, and report sharing.
DigiHoof combines authenticated clinic access, permission controls, time-limited sharing, and defined file-retention periods. No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.
Protected connections
Information is protected while transmitted between supported browsers and the public DigiHoof service.
Clinic boundaries
Application authorization controls are used to restrict access to studies, reports, measurements, and clinic-management functions.
Operational monitoring
Logging, health checks, backups, update procedures, and access review support ongoing operation and investigation of unexpected activity.
Image-bearing share links
Possession of the link grants access.
Share tokens function as bearer credentials. Anyone who receives an active link may be able to view its packaged content. Links have an expiry and can be revoked, but expiry cannot remove copies previously downloaded or captured.
Clinic responsibility
Send links only to authorized recipients.
Confirm the recipient and selected content before sharing. Revoke links that were sent incorrectly or are no longer required. Do not place share links in public posts, unsecured notes, or broadly accessible messaging groups.
Data minimization
Large files are not retained indefinitely.
Source radiographs, clinical photographs, reports, and image-bearing share packages are deleted according to the published schedule. This limits long-term accumulation while retaining smaller structured measurements for clinical comparison.

- Use a unique password and protect access to the email account
- Do not share individual login credentials
- Remove access for staff who leave the clinic
- Verify recipients before creating report links
- Download required records before file expiry
