What it measures
DigiHoof places the landmarks in both. You correct them, and it does the arithmetic.
Hoof Balance
Palmar angle, sole depth, the horn-lamellar zone and P3 rotation from your laterals and DPs.
Lamellar Lucent Zone
Proximal, middle and distal LLZ widths and the LLZmid:PCL ratio, for the cases where the lamellae are the question. DigiHoof measures; it does not diagnose laminitis.
Serial radiograph measurements
Serial comparison only means something if the points went in the same way both times. DigiHoof uses the same definitions on every study, so what changes between visits is the foot, not the marking.
DigiHoof places every landmark as the study loads. Your job is to check them.
